The Role:

  • As a Bid manager, you will take on a key role in the industry solution business unit.
  • Together with sales, customer project managers and the specialist departments, you will develop innovative approaches and solutions for new business acquisition and further development for major customers in the construction logistics, heath, e-food and circular economy sectors.
  • Client negotiation and able to take over the lead in the bid process from the initialization of a specific offer to the conclusion of the contract.
  • You can bring your organizational talent, your leadership experience, but also your heart and soul and your creativity.
  • In close cooperation with the members of the sales team, you work goal-oriented towards a successful conclusion of the contract. Both in the offer phase and in contract negotiations, you are on the customer front.
  • Your tasks include the review and analysis of complex tender documents as well as the integration of the necessary resources from the various departments.
  • You are responsible for putting together the project team and coordinating all departments / functions involved through all phases of the project. You create offers and the associated cost calculation according to the information provided by the various internal and external bodies.
  • You support the sales department in the preparation of the offer strategy and you ensure that performance features, cost, deadline and quality targets are adhered to in the offer.
  • You are also responsible for the introduction and further development of the bid management processes and structures.

Your profile

  • You have a higher technical or business education
  • You have already been able to gain in-depth experience in dealing with customers and you enjoy the C-Level fair preparation of ideas for the development of innovative solutions as well as the elaboration and presentation of convincing value propositions.
  • You are a communicative, service-oriented and convincing personality with initiative and assertiveness.
  • You have knowledge of project and risk management and have professional experience (approx. 10 years) in bid management and / or project management in the logistics or ICT area or in the following industries (construction, healthcare, circular economy and / or e-food).
  • You should bring an APMP and / or project management certification with you.
  • Fluent in German, a good level of English
  • French language a big advantage
