On behalf of our client, a well known Swiss Company, we are currently looking for an experienced German and English speaking IT Application Engineer - Payments,for a role based at our client's site in Zurich - Switzerland.

Role:

• Installation and configuration of applications for our Client's customers
• Ensuring smooth application operation with a focus on banking
• Analyze defects for development
• Identifying weak points and recognizing potential for synergies for current infrastructures, services or organizational issues
• Technical project management and participation in projects
• Driving automated services
• Creation of specialist publications, specifications, documentation in German and English
• Setting up and operating OM tasks / topics

Your Profile

• Proven successful work in the field of Application engineering
• 5 years plus of experience with planning, implementation and operation of IT systems and applications
• 5 years plus of experience in Windows environments (including databases), Linux is a plus
• Ability to quickly familiarize oneself with (customer) processes and solutions
• Service-oriented way of thinking and acting
• Strong analytical and strategic understanding
• Constant follow-up and learning of all IT topics
• Ability to work in a team and a highly professional way of working
• Qualified training and further education in the field of computer science or business informatics (HF or FH).
• Fluent in German and English
