On behalf of our client, a well known Swiss Company, we are currently looking for an experienced German and English speaking Solution Designerfor a role based at our client's site in Bern - Switzerland

The Role

• In this key position as a Solution Designer for logistics systems, you will work in the Service & Solution Design team in our Client's mail and parcel area.
• You will be involved in IT business analysis or IT architecture projects and as a solution designer, you will design new solutions for our Client's business, in close cooperation with customers, suppliers and internal partners.
• Together with the central stakeholders, you design solution architectures, evaluate solution variants and work on projects in the conception, implementation and implementation.
• Their area of ​​application relates to the central core systems of our Client's business, which ensure the management of the extensive package and letter data.
• With your strong analytical thinking skills, you are able to abstract complex relationships and integrate new solution concepts into our system landscape in line with our Client's strategy.
• In order to be able to perform your task in a targeted manner, you will acquire a broad knowledge of customer needs, processes, the Swiss Post system landscape and innovative modern technologies.

Your profile

• You have a university degree (Bachelor or Master) in computer science or similar
• Have already gained 6 years plus experience as an IT business Analyst or as an IT architect in the area of ​​solution design.
• You are familiar with service-oriented architectures.
• You are proficient in modeling languages ​​such as UML and BPMN.
• Thanks to your good communication skills, you can find out well-founded needs, work out adequate solutions and explain them to the recipient.
• You are an initiative and resilient personality who is highly motivated to deliver beneficial solutions and act independently.
• Fluent in German and a good level of English required
