On behalf of our client, a well-known Company from the Public Sector, we are looking for a Strategic Procurement Product Group Manager in System Engineering experience, for a permanent role based in Bern - Switzerland.
Are you fascinated by strategic projects in purchasing and would you like to take on responsibility for important projects in the procurement team at our Client's company in Bern ?
The Role:
- As a member of the middle management, you will contribute to the development and implementation of product group strategies, which are an essential basis for achieving cost and quality improvements in the materials and services purchased in the area of ​​logistics services
- In the procurement process, you take a holistic view and continuously adapt to the developments and needs of the market. You act with foresight and actively tackle changes
- You act entrepreneurially and recognize new opportunities for our Client's by developing and maintaining good customer relationships
- You are responsible for all procurement transactions in your product groups and ensure success through early involvement, among other things
- You actively contribute your creativity and innovation to process management and develop supplier, contract and risk management further
Your Skills and Experience
- Basic technical training with further training in business administration, federal dipl. Purchasing manager or comparable qualification
- 7 years plus of experience in the procurement of capital goods, as well as proven knowledge in the areas of project management, procurement management and procurement law
- High level of social skills and integrity, you create a climate of trust and appreciation
- Strong communication skills
- Proven IT skills in the MS Office package and in SAP, preferably in Ariba.
- Fluent in German, as well as good knowledge of French and / or English
