Position Overview

Connect44 is seeking a Transport Delivery Manager to join our team in Bucharest on a permanent basis. This role involves aspects of signalling design configuration.

Main activities and tasks :

  • Responsible for scheduling of change events in collaboration with Project Manager and other stakeholders within the project team.
  • Compile accurate CRQs within the Helix Tool, ensuring alignment with client change process adherence.
  • Compile accurate Implementation plans, ensuring alignment with client change process adherence.
  • Ensures that the appropriate resources are allocated to the change events working with Vendors, Suppliers, and client Functional areas.
  • Operate effective quality management and configuration control.
  • Effectively managing and controlling change, ensuring all necessary updates are carried out during and after event in order to deliver good change process adherence.
  • Maintaining and complying with performance measures for delivery and efficiency.
  •  Provide clear and effective communication.
  • Manages stakeholders including client internal groups and external suppliers.
  • Employ effective Leadership during change events.
  • Establish, Maintain and Publish a Tracker for each project or work assignment.
  • Conduct Impact and Risk Assessment and collision management for network changes.
  • Monitor & Manage raised Helix Incident Cases.
  • Ensure appropriate escalation of issues or incidents, following Implementation Plan.
  • Adheres to the internal rules and regulations, policies, procedures, and current workflow within the organization/business unit/ team.
  • Performs other tasks within the scope of the role, as requested by the immediate supervisor, within the limits of own professional competence (e.g., reports, analyses, specific projects, etc.).

Specific skills & technical knowledge:

  • Relevant experience of working in an environment of change involving new systems, new processes and culture change.
  • Experience in managing complex change events within a live mobile network.
  • Strong technical background in the Telecommunication / IT industry.
  • Proven track record of delivery and a track record of achieving results through people in a matrix delivery team.
  • Driven and focussed, insists on high level of performance and does not become resigned to the inevitability of delays.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills in English, including understanding of technical terms and phrases.
  • Effective leadership and communications skills, projecting competence and credibility.
  • Ability to work within a very diverse delivery team.
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and adopt innovative delivery mechanisms.
  • Structured and methodical, detailed conscious planner.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of business processes and cross-functional working experience.
  • In a position to work 24/7, managing project events out of hours as required by project delivery specifics.
  • Work on customer premises as required.

Required Education & Trainings

Technical University degree – Telecommunication/ IT or related
