Key Responsibilities
1. Workplace & User Support
- Provide comprehensive workplace technology support to employees, including OS installation/configuration (Windows/macOS), office software support, and desktop/laptop troubleshooting.
- Manage office peripherals, such as printers, projectors, and related IT accessories, including installation, daily maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Deliver basic IT onboarding and technical training for local users.
2. Infrastructure, Inspection & Daily Operations
- Meeting Room Inspection & AV Support: Regularly inspect and maintain all IT and audio/visual (AV) equipment across meeting rooms (display screens, microphones, projection systems, video conferencing terminals) to ensure seamless day-to-day operation.
- Server Room & Network Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of the server room and monitor IT network equipment (servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless APs).
- Network Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance and quality; perform troubleshooting and resolution for connectivity, performance, and configuration issues (such as VLAN and STP).
- Office Security Systems: Operate and maintain office door access control systems and CCTV surveillance systems.
3. VIP Meeting Assurance & Project Support
- Meeting Assurance: Provide dedicated technical support and assurance for critical and VIP video meetings (both on-site and remote).
- IT Project Deployment: Assist in analyzing, planning, and deploying IT projects, including local IT infrastructure upgrades, network layout for office expansions/renovations, and system go-live testing.
- Documentation & Asset Management: Maintain and update network diagrams, IT asset inventories, and system configuration documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
1. Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1–3+ years of hands-on experience in IT desktop support, office network maintenance, and infrastructure operations.
2. Technical Competencies
- Skillful in troubleshooting laptop/desktop hardware, operating systems, and office software.
- Strong understanding of building-level LAN architecture and common network protocols/configurations (e.g., VLAN, STP).
- Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining network hardware (switches, routers, firewalls); familiarity with Huawei or Cisco equipment is preferred.
- Solid understanding of AV/meeting room infrastructure and peripheral maintenance.
- Scripting or basic programming experience (e.g., Python or Java) is a plus.
3. Languages & Soft Skills
- Languages: Fluent in English; fluency in Chinese is preferred; conversational German is optional/a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure both independently and within a team.
- Certifications (Optional): Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, or PMP are a plus.
